The Premier Leagues Association (PLA) has approved the deal that will see Chelsea pay £4 million for a facility at the clubs training ground in Spa.
The club has been in talks with the league for the past few months and have been hoping to buy the facility for £2.6m in order to be able to take their academy into the Premier League.
But after a huge deal that saw the club pay a whopping £4million, they are now set to break the record for a training facility.
Chelsea had been planning to move the facility to their training ground since last October, but they finally decided to move it to a new site.
Chelsea have had talks with other top clubs in Europe but the deal will see the Premier Leaguers Association (PFA) approve the deal in a historic moment.
It is understood that the agreement will be finalised this week and the final details will be confirmed at the end of the month.
Chelsea are currently in the process of buying the club to improve their squad and will begin work on a new training ground later this month.
